** spoiler alert **
Another book in the Nightside Series. I love this series, but we seem to be winding down at this point. All the awesome characters have been trotted out at this point and we are finishing up the tale.
Walker is gone, all hail the new voice John Taylor. Oh, and lets give him Excalibur. ha. Now that was awesome, and fun for a minute but of course the first thing he wants to do is get rid of it. John sets off to find the remains of Arthur's round table and eventually resurrect good old Arthur to stop the Elf war we have been hearing about for the last couple chapters.
Typical John Taylor story, he takes along Suzie and saves the day with tricks and street smarts. We are teased with the idea of an awesome final battle but this is not the book for that.
Don't get me wrong, it was still a fun ride with some of the hilarious scenes, alternate universes and possible futures that make these books great but the formula was definitely there. Elfs have moved on, Arthur is gonna nap some more, oh and Suzie is preggers. Not my favorite Nightside book, but I still love em.
