** spoiler alert ** I liked it but I was really disappointed that Drake is doing the same old hero/heroine fights with extra powerful parent trope, especially since we just did that in the last book. I guess it explains the source of her powers, but still.

And the crippling jealousy and insecurity was annoying, too. Really? There's one attractive and supposedly helpless human and she's ready to give Danaus up for lost? I get that she's not used to trusting or relying on other people but still. If they just had an adult conversation probably 85% of it could have been avoided. If you can't have an adult conversation you probably shouldn't be dating. Just saying.

Decided it's time to move this from urban fantasy to PNR. Probably should have done that at least 2 books ago.
