it was amazing

Let me just tell you, the first few pages of this book were *hard* for me to get through. Beth describes the process of being cryogenically frozen in *detail.*

She does such a great job that I could imagine exactly what Amy was going through and it really freaked me out.

And really, that's kind of how the whole book was for me. I *felt* like I was there: in Amy's dreams as she slept, frozen aboard the ship; with Elder as he sees the stars for the first time; with Amy as she goes through that horrific attack.

I felt the claustrophobia of realizing you are stuck aboard a big, round ship. And there's no way off.
