A note on this series in general: complexly layered myths overlapping and merging = of course I'm going to like it.

This series' strength is in its characters. Definitely proves that everyone is a hero in his/her own mind. The Flamel couple (especially Perenelle) keep looking sketchier and sketchier, but in the scenes from their POV they look completely justified. Machiavelli is probably my favorite character - I agreed with Josh's statement (however ironic) that Machiavelli was the only one who was honest with him.

I want to find out what's going to happen next.
