Whoa, whoa, whoa. Have you read the description for this? What IS THAT? NO! Victoria can't become human! That ruins everything and I'm pissed.

Gah. No I haven't *runs off to read it*Huh.........
Hmmmm.....
Idk, what I think about that. IT seems like a strange way to take the series. Gena is only writing one more after Twisted, so it seems like she's gonna be doing a lot in both books. If I'm honest though, I don't care too much about Aden and Vic.... i want more Mary Ann and Riley!

I KNOW! I was happy cuz I thought Aden and Victoria could live a longgg time together, but then she goes and does this!?!?! And only one more? NO! *cries* Bahaha, yeah, I know who you want: Riley. Mary Ann annoys me, though! I like her, but...no. And Riley's sexy and all, but Aden's still my number one. Idk though, it seems as if he's going to start being more Riley-ish in this book. BUT YOU REALLY DON'T CARE!? I thought you cared about all the non-evil characters LMAO!

Gena likes to throw a lot of twists in her books. Some one's always dying and the coming back or becoming evil or changing what they are and then on....I love her for that though, but it's still annoying though. Yep. Only one more book. What can I say....I stalk her blog frequently. She's got another YA series coming out afterwards though called Alice in Zombieland, which I'm looking forward to. PLUS! She's writing a spin off focusing on Riley's brothers--Max and Nate, coming out in 2013,which I cannot wait for =D
Lmao! Uh-huh! I want Riley. Guess I'll have to fight Mary Ann for him, lol. Oh, really? I like her. I just hate that she left Riley at the end of the last book. What in the world is she thinking?? Crazy girl!
Oh. I do care. I do...I'm just not going nuts about it. If something happened to Riley however, well, then I'd be going absolutely crazy.
Hahaha, that's so true! She pack A LOT into all her books. I don't know how she keeps it all straight! I know a lot of people feel like too much is going on in these books, but I think she does it well. Ohhh, another YA series? Alice in Zombieland? LOL! I'll have to check that out! AND DOUBLE OHHH! Spin-off! Awesomeness! Those two need love cuz of their curse! Yepppp, I like Mary Ann, but sometimes she spends waaaay too much time in introspection. Ha! I like this. It works out nicely. You get Riley and I get Aden! That way we won't have to fight each other. :)
She does! I don't know how she does it either, but I'm all for it, cos I love her books (I know you're not that big a fan of her Adult series, but I love 'em) and I'm glad she manages to keep things interesting =)Yep, yep. I think Alice in Zombieland is pretty self explanatory, what with the name and all, lol. I reckon Nate and Max's series will be good. I wanna know more about those brothers.
That's true I guess. I still like her better than Vic though. Vic is cool, but she's too much for me.
Deal! No fighting over them then! Hmmmm, I wonder if we'll bicker over who gets Nate and Max. Probably =D
I don't think her adult series is bad, just not my particular taste haha. Obviously not MUCH is my taste. ;)Ha! Yep! And I read the description for Alice on her site. Sounds interesting, even though I'm not a huge fan of zombie stories. I know there are zombies in Intertwined, but it's not ABOUT zombies.
ME TOO! They seem so interesting and they're currently very mysterious. Oh yeah, I'm not a Victoria fan just because she seems kind of fake to me. The only reason I like her is b/c she loves Aden lol.
Ha! Maybe, maybe not! Haven't seen enough yet to know. All I can recall is that one is a bit nicer than the other haha.
Lmao! Are there any books you love Krista?I haven't really read a lot of Zombie books either, in fact I don't think I've read any. I recently bought The Forest of Hands and Teeth so we'll see how that goes. Maybe it'll cement my love of zombie books.
Yes! We don't know all too much about them, plus considering there curse and how anyone they're attracted too find them ugly, it's going to be really interesting to see if their romances (if there are any, and lets face it--there will be). I think they're be sweet and about more than looks.
Vic is just too typical for me, i guess. She's the kind of character you see all the time.
Yeah. I admit I don't remember much of them either, but maybe we'll get to see more of them in Twisted and then the last book....
Hahaha, yes! You know I love the Mortal Instruments, read those five times each, and then a few others you haven't read lol. Haha, yeahhh, I've been avoiding that book because it sounds sooo dark!! I'm kind of afraid to read it. :)
EXACTLY! It's going to be SO freaking awesome! Maybe there will be girls who like them despite their "ugliness?" REALLY!?!?! I don't recall ever reading a character like Vic! Who does she remind you of? Anyone specific?
Okay, I have to rant about something irrelevent. In the book I'm reading, this bitch left her boyfriend after his ex-wife and son were killed, just vanished. And guess what? EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE BOOK is going around threatening the guy, asking how he could hurt her like that, and saying if he hurts her again, they'll kill him. Um, excuse me? SHE left HIM when he really really needed her. Okay, I'm done. =)
Yes, well TMI is a given, lol....I'll let you know if it's okay. I've got a few books to read first, but hopefully it's alright.
YES! How sweet is it going to be?!? I can foresee that one of the brothers (can't remember which one--maybe Nate I think??) is going to have a bad attitude, but it'll be so adorable seeing someone break through all that.
No One in particular, but more the hot chick that everyone wants/ sexy vampire I think....idk, lol.
What. The. Hell!!! What kind of book are you reading?? That is so stupid. I can't believe people can act like that.....
Okay, sounds good! I hope you like it. :)I KNOW!!! I guarantee I'm going to like those love interests lol! I BETTER! But I think I will 'cause I like her YA characters as far as I can tell, female-wise, even if I don't LOVE them. YEAH! The one that refused to acknowledge Mary Ann. I hope it's realistic; cause it would have to be someone awesome in order to get through to Nate or whoever lol.
Oh, hmm....the only "hot" vamp I can think of right now is Rose...but she's not like Rose. OH! In the Drake Chronicles, sort of similar to those heroines, I think.
Well, it's SUPPOSED to be a mystery with a MALE main character, however it reads like women's fiction. There was a murder at the beginning, and the main guy, who is supposed to be investigating it, never even thinks about it 'cause he's mooning over this bitch who treats him like crap. Every single scene is about her and her problems, and she's literally cried on every single page so far. I mean, what's the point of having a male POV if it's all about the freaking woman? Kayyyy, sorry, I'm done.
I hope so too :)Ditto! I can kinda imagine the types of gals they'll be and I love them already. I hope Gena doesn't disappoint, but still.... We have to wait until 2013. 2013! How freakin' far away is that?!?
Hmmm, most of the Drake Chronicles heroines are mortal. Only one was vampire, although she was similar to Victoria.
Haha! That's okay. I don't know how you're able to continue reading it though....
Ahhh! 2013!? I'll be 23! LOL! But I'm probably going to be reading YA until I'm seventy years old lol. Or maybe not. ;)What about Solange? Solange and Isabeaux or whatever her name was?
'Cause I bought it! I haven't bought a book in forever, so I MUST finish it!
Lmao! yep. And I'll be.....21, possibly 22 depending on when the book is released. Damn! That's old. LOL. Ditto. I'll be old and grey and still reading YA.I forgot about Solange. Yeah. I guess she is a bit like Victoria. And Isabeau is just weird, lol.
Aww, really? You finally buy a book and it's crap. You know, I buy pretty much all of my books =)
But seriously! Something disturbing has been happening to me. I'm starting to think of 16y/o's as little kids who don't know much. WHAT IS THAT!? I feel elderly or something lol! I don't like it!Hahaaha, yeah, I honestly don't much like that series. It seems kinda fake, and the author isn't that great. The books are like candy, kind of thin and not memorable.
Ohhh, well, I'm a bad girl...I like to get books in other ways lol. Wow, that sounded worse than it is! :P
I've started doing that too, a little bit! More like 15 year olds and 16 year olds who act like babies are getting to me though. Lmao! Don't feel elderly Krista. Wait! Is that grey hair I see?!? ;PI like them as light, fun reads. Nothing that requires a lot of thought--which can be good at times. Hmmm, candy! Now I want something sweet! *grumbles*
Oh? Really? Is there something you've been keeping from me, ahahahaahahahaha
Lol. Yeah. It did sound bad. It really did =)
Buuut, literally less than a year ago I still felt like a teenager, now suddenly out of nowhere I'm using a walker and have false teeth and almost no hair left!Haha, yeah, I agree. They're not 'favorite' type books, but they're quick and entertaining. Candy! Easter candy! :D
LMAO! It's like they pay me in books instead of money. Ohhhwow. Shutting up now. ^_^
ROFL! You crack me up, Krista! Really you're not that old. Besides, it's like they say....you're only as old as you feel. Oh god. If I never see chocolate again I'll be perfectly fine. Says the girl who was eating some today though, lol!
Haha. Yeah. That may be a good idea.
I know I'm not that old, but still! When you're 21 you'll know what I mean! It's freaky. Hahaha, wow, cuz you got THAT much chocolate??? Not that I didn't get quite a lot myself. ^_^ Mmm.
Hey! I'm insulted lol. Just kidding.
Hmmm. Maybe. I think turning 20 is scary. I won't be a "teenager' anymore. Lol. It's funny---my friend says that we're not turning twenty, we're turning twenteen instead =D I must say I like the sound of that, haha! No. I didn't really get that much, but I haven't really been eating what I've got so there's still some left. Lol. I'm lucky my mum hasn't gotten into it yet!
Aww, I'm just kidding, lol. Don't wanna insult ya!
Oh, and btw....what do you think of the Twisted cover^^^^ I just love it!!! How cool is it!?!? It's odd having not just Aiden on the cover though....
Hahahaha!!! That's perfect. "Twenteen!" Yes! Can I be twenteen-one!? Rofl! And maybe stay that way for a good long time....Ha! My mom always buys me lots of candy to stuff in my stocking at christmas, but then she ends up eating all the stuff she likes while I'm not looking lol. Same with easter, though it hasn't happened yet. ;)
Hmmm, I like the cover a lot, though that's not at all how I picture Aden! That guy looks kind of scary/evil lol.
Sure! If i'm gonna be twenteen, then you can be twenteen-one. We'll never not be teenagers =DWe pretty much share in my family. My mum and dad don't really bother buying each other chocolate and they're not into us buy it for them either, but they tend to get the munchies for it when it's easily assessable. Hence why they eat ours, lol.
That's not how I picture Aden either. It's pretty much how I picture Victoria though....
Hahahaha, yep! We'll be elderly teenagers lol. Ahh, I see. :D Yeah, my parents never buy anything for each other, though I know my mom would be happy if he did buy her stuff while pretending that she was angry. She puts on a show of being on a diet but she never really is lol and we all know it. Besides, even people on diets need chocolate. :p
Same. That's victoria. If anything that guy is more Riley than Aden, but he's not right for either of them. He's marginally attractive though. ><
Oooh. That sounds good =) I'm all for that!Lol. I'm like your mum. I'm always saying I'm gonna diet--I never do! I guess you could say I'm on the "sea food diet" at the moment. I see food, I eat it.
See, he doesn't even look like Riley to me. I think it's because he reminds me of an character off and Australian soap that I'm addicted to called Home and Away.
See: http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgur...
Hahaha, my mom says that all the time! See food. :pYeah, they do look similar, but the soap guy looks a lot older lol. Oh wellll. :( There are plenty of other hot guys on book covers to drool over hehe.
The cover is hot! I need to read Intertwined already! I'm buying it next weekend because I had to ORDER it. I'm pulling my hair out!
Hahaa, be glad you have to wait! That way it won't be over and you'll still be able to look forward to it. :D

Yep. He is older, but still, it reminds me of him, lol.
Nicole wrote: "The cover is hot! I need to read Intertwined already! I'm buying it next weekend because I had to ORDER it. I'm pulling my hair out!"That sucks, but at least it will be here in the next week or so =) That's no too far away....
Ugh, Rachel. Just...ugh. I officially loathe this series. This last book sent me into a spiralling depression.
:/ Krista, I'm glad you messaged me. I would have read it anyway because when people really don't like a book I find the need to read it for myself anyway because I want them to be wrong. ha, sometimes it works out for me and sometimes it doesn't. I'm going to buy the paperback of Unraveled so that I can finish it and take my library copy back and then get Twisted so I can read that one. I'm not going to buy it in hardcover and blow $20 when it may be horrible. Ugh, it better not suck. I'll be really pissed. I really love this series.
Well, it's not that I'd be wrong, but it's my opinion and I readily admit I'm way more critical than most people LOL. But I know what you mean. I try to have hope that I'll like the book regardless of bad reviews.
Actually the fact that you are more critical makes me more likely to check your reviews first because I know that if you really loved a book or a series, it has to be pretty damn decent! lol
Krista (One Love) (Critical) wrote: "Ugh, Rachel. Just...ugh. I officially loathe this series. This last book sent me into a spiralling depression."Awww, I'm so sorry to hear that. I haven't read it yet. It's been sitting on my shelf for like a month, but I've got like 10 review copies that I have to catch up on first and I've been putting it off cos I know what you think.
Really, if it's as bad as you say I'm gonna be real disappointed in Gena :S
HA. Rachel I've been putting off Unraveled because of it. I don't want this series to be ruined, it's one of the greats with a genuinely lovely, amazing, sincere, beautiful cast of characters!
Nicole wrote: "HA. Rachel I've been putting off Unraveled because of it. They take effect in Twisted and I think that's one of the reason the book's not so great....
