Read in September, 2010

Sir Maurice Newbury and Miss Veronica Hobbes get involved in two mysteries, which in due course bring them together and put them in mortal danger.

The excitement of the chase around Victorian London, in the ubiquitous swirling fog, and of the implications of the Osiris Ritual is suspenseful and holds the reader throughout. Finally, the denouement is something quite different.

I am not one to read much fantasy but this is one to ponder over and it might get even better with the pondering!
