Okay - I get it. Cussler writes himself into each of his books. Very Hitchcock.
This book kept it's edge and was not as outlandish as Cusslers plots can get. Loved all the helicopters and explosions... and the C130 Spectre on the cover. Sometimes you have to like a book just for it's cover art. Luckily, this one has a little more going for it.
