it was amazing

I adored this book. Not the least because it actually made me laugh out loud more than once. The main character is a delight, and his good heart gets him into many hysterical situations. A protagonist who is a rent boy is certainly an unusual trope, but Kevin is a thoroughly sympathetic character who looks on his life without shame and with a lot of compassion. I liked the author's choices when it came to plot--red herrings all over the place and a surprising denouement. I read the book in one sitting and immediately went to the computer to see if there was another book in the series out yet. Unfortunately, there wasn't, but I have high hopes for future installments.
