A great conclusion to a great trilogy.

Beautiful language as always; like reading poetry instead of prose. It transforms the whole storyline into an ethereal creation.

And then there was the story itself - Sam and Grace, I have read no other lovestory like theirs. It is both calming and exciting, it is warmth and cold, and beauty and tragedy. It just is. It just fits, no doubts ever raised.

And then there were Cole and Isabel. They brought laughter, sharpness to the plot. They brought reality, to Sam and Grace's magic. They also brought change and excitement, as well as psychological depth.

So far this review could very well have been placed under Linger but in Forever there were others to be considered. One became an unexpected ally, one changed opinions through Sam's kindness, one remained as focused on the wolves and their deaths as ever, one innocent died, and the one to weave most conflicts acted up again, even at the end when tragedy was ongoing. The plot was an amazing tangle of people, notions and actions.

All that leading to an ending unexpected and charming, but also one with unresolved conflicts, the greatest of which was tackled at the very last page and would forever leave readers not with certainty, but with hope.
