The Mage's Daughter (Nine Kingdoms, #2)
by Lynn Kurland
by Lynn Kurland
All the elements that I had enjoyed in the first novel (likeable characters, gentle romance, swords and sorcery) were there, except for one: our independent, sword-wielding, physically and mentally strong heroine has turned into a love-besotted clingy whiner that cries at *every* opportunity. Grrr. Here's hoping she'll get her cajones back for Book 3!
