It is said that everyone has a price. This disturbing story asks in no uncertain terms...What's yours? After having read Ellen Hopkins' books in the past, I knew pretty much what to expect. Teen aged girl or boy, trouble at home, led into life of vice that leads to the further demoralization of said wayward teen. In this installment the vice is sex and the five characters resort to using it for different reasons. Result-the Ellen Hopkins poetic train wreck that one can't stop watching though the sight make you want to run screaming in the other direction.
This was a good book, but there was just too much Too much sadness, pain, debasement etc.
