I truly enjoyed reading this book. Dreaming in Cuban is about Celia del Pino, her 2 daughters and her grandchildren.

I found it to be a remarkable story - no matter how far you travel away from your family there is always a pull to bring you back. Dreaming in Cuban ran the course of 3 generations and how each generation shaped thier life story for good or bad. And how once they found thier family foundation life made more sense.

The character where relatable with each dysfunction and the need for a foundation is routed in us all.
