This was a wonderful satire about the American obsession with fame and publicity. An interesting switch occurs between two characters: a bear trying to become a human and a human becoming more and more like a bear.

I don't want to spoil the book for anyone who wants to read it, but suffice it to say this: If you have ever dreamed of being a celebrity, or have a desire to write, this is a book you absolutely must read. Think of it as a fairy tale for the modern age - Harry Potter, but for grown-ups.
