I really liked this book, it is a very different take on the whole menage/sharing thing. Within this book we get the back story about why the August boys are the way they are, I think there is still more to the story, but we got the majority of it. Once you hear this you really understand why these men really do NEED this unconventional relationship. I also loved watching Marly and Sarah really come to terms with what the guys need and why they need it, they have to accept that the men they love will be with another woman, and their struggle rings true. It also allows them to have the start of a friendship that will be much stronger than most women have. I also like how we had a continuation of the stalker story from the first book. We sort of get a clue who this person is and why they are doing it, but there is a lot to be resolved too, good think there is another book. It will be interesting to see what another woman will bring to the mix.

Joan Yes, one more book, Darcy, and a short story, and everything becomes clear and HEA. I loved the August boys, especially Brock, but I also felt sorry for what they had experienced and, like you, better understood why they expressed themselves sexually the way they did.

Joan The short story is called "August Heat" and is in Ellora's Cave "12 Quickies of Christmas" anthology.

Darcy I did see that. When Sam came up to Sarah in this book and told her he needed her it just killed me. For some reason the mix of all of these people just seems to work.

Joan Yes, I know, but it is also a very skewed form of expressing love and devotion among brothers. Let me know what you think when you get to the very end.
