The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins reminds me of the book The Giver. They are in a world where there is no freedom and they have to act accordingly to what people tell them. I feel sorry for the ones that had to enter the "Hunger games". They risk their lives for others entertainment. The hunger games consists of different districts and each district has 2 representative, a girl and a boy. Everyone in the game must fight each other until the the last one standing alive is the winner, meaning the others die. In this book they were actually nice enough to change the rules so that if the last 2 standing are from the same district they won't have to kill each other. I felt happy for Katniss and Peeta, the winners of the game because they didn't die and survived, but i also felt sad for the ones that actually died. They were all young children or teenagers that had to go against people that weren't their size or had more of an advantage than them, so it was an unfair game.
