This is one of those books that make impossible for me to let the characters go. I can't really write a review, because I would end up writing more about my feelings than about the book itself. And this is pretty useless as a review, so why am I writing this?

I love books about road trips that are also a journey to self discovery. Sometimes it seems only when you are far from home, disconnected from the people you know - and especially those who know you - you can really be yourself, as if the mask you wear is there to shade you from your family and acquaintences rather than from strangers. Sam has Mitch to go with him through this trip and the journey is heart-wrenching and emotional (and hot).

I can't say much more, I didn't want it to finish. Since the story is told from Sam point of view, I wish I had Mitch point of view too, even if the author was able to convey his doubts and indecisions. There's only one criticism: it worked really well for Sam, but I am not really into Kylie Minogue...
