*Note from before: Highly recommended by George. Not sure it's my cup of tea though. I'm halfway, and I've lost my interest in it. I'm going on to Fearless Fourteen, but I'll come back to it after that.*

This was definitely not my cup of tea in a lot of ways, but it was horrible and beautiful, and I couldn't help but get sucked into it. It focused not on the zombies so much, in fact they're pretty much just in the background. Instead, it focused on the people, and particularly the evil in people. The narrator does a wonderful job, the writing was wonderfully lyrical. But my scalp prickles when I hear or see something gross, and it sure was prickling during the end of disc 3, and most of disc 4. Yuck. There is no happy ending, which makes it definitely not my cup of tea, but the journey was enjoyable enough that it still gets full stars.

Alisa Kester Does George own a copy of this? If so, I may have to beg to borrow it, because it totally is MY cup of tea! :)

message 2: by Bonnie (new) - added it

Bonnie The library has the audio book, but not the book. I have it checked out, but won't get to it for awhile. Do you want me to bring it on Saturday for you?

Alisa Kester Thanks, but no. I'd rather read this type then listen to it! I'll check to see whether I can get it off paperback book swap....
