I adore Jennifer Crusie's books. Welcome To Temptation being my all time fav. But in this one I had a hard time connecting to Nell-the female protag. She just couldn't learn to stop. I can understand the conflict she had because she didn't want to end up like she did with her ex-doing all the work and giving him all the credit. But she didn't build Gabe's business. She had no personal stake in it. She was, even though is cheesed her off, just a secretary there. Her hissy fits about not getting her way were annoying to say the least. She went from one extreme to the other. I know as the owner of a business, I would be the same as Gabe if someone marched in and tried to steamroll over me. Riley, Suze, and the other secondary characters were hilarious and I enjoyed the scenes between them much more then our 2 protags.
