I admit that I'm a die-hard fan of the Oregon Files. I also admit that I often struggle at the beginning of the books since they often reach so far back in history that I'm anxious to get to the "meat" of things.

For me, this is the best Oregon Files book yet. There are lulls in the action but that's not always a bad thing. It's nice to have a stopping point.

I'm not sure if I'm becoming too gullible or the world is becoming too "out there" but there is more of this book that is believable than not. The devoloping virus, the cause and effect, the motives of the bad guys.....it can sadly all make sense.
