last week i had the pleasure and joy of reading the book The Old Willis Place. The Old Willis Place, which was written by Mary Downing Hahn, takes place in a woods right by a very old haunted house. The kids that live in the woods have very strict rules that they can not break. When the rules are broken, by the to main characters, Diana, Georgie, and the new kid that moved in next door, the consequences are very extreme. this story is very scary and life threatening. The kids are always scared that the ghost is going to hurt them. This story keeps you reading- its AMAZING!! This book is scary, but exciting. In my opinion, the things that happen are very realistic, that is if you believe in ghosts. The whole book receives a strong 10 out of 10! You should most definitely read this book now!
