it was amazing

If you think the movie is terrifying, the book is even more so. I grew up going to the beaches of New Jersey quite a bit but after seeing this movie, I have never gone in the water past my knees, and never will. Too REAL; I know shark attacks are rare, but so did all the people who have been attacked by sharks, so I'm not taking any chances.
The book is, like all books made into movies, more detailed, and there are differences in some of the scenes, etc (for example, I won't say who, but not everyone who lives in the movie survives in the book). It is so well-written, you feel like you are in the mind of the shark itself at times and it is descriptive enough that you have no problem getting a visual of the scenes; you feel like you are right with the shark, swimming in the deep, murky waters of the ocean at night.
