What did I think?

I like the plot, but I don't love it.

Too much twists and turns, too much flash blacks. Sidney always portrays his novels in a dog-eat-dog world and this one is no exception.

Every time I read Sidney Sheldon, it feels like an important element is lacking. What it was, I really don't know.

This one, juts like the others, was a full description of power, ambition, family and greed. Legal, economic and political aspects were slightly inserted in a flawless form. The character of Julia vs Tyler is thrilling.

The author gave each character a consistent and separate forms of human vice and portrays the hell-like family of the rich, the complexities lust result and the wonders and disasters money can wreak!

It was entertaining, after all.
