I have been waiting for this book for a month after winning it on GoodReads. The website shows I received it on 10/30/2010. I actually just received the book on Friday, November 5. I immediately started reading it and am thrilled with it. It is as good as I anticipated!! Wish I had a "DEAR" day..."Drop Everything And Read" Day!!! Would love to put everything else aside, but work (that pays the bills) beckons and the bills are waiting. Such is life.
This book was amazing. Very graphic, but given the subject matter very appropriate. If this is the debut offering from this author, WATCH OUT WORLD. This is an author to anticipate!! With the background the author comes from makes for a very authentic, fast-paced read. The only thing I kept waiting for was the reason for the title to this book. It finally comes near the end.
