Eehhhh, mmm, errr. This wasn't bad, but I didn't really like it. It wasn't very character driven. It was kind of vague. It tackled some interesting ideas, and it did it in a rather unique way, but it also felt very muddled. It kind of drifts around from subject to subject, or place to place, or even in time. We are on very tenuous ground in the novel and I really didn't enjoy it.

There was some good imagery and it was well written as an idea, but it was hardly a story. The characters were hardly there, and really, the story was about the same. This focused too much on the intended meaning and all of the symbolism and that was really all it became.
