She Had It Coming by Mary Monroe

I’ve had this book for some years now and just recently got around to finishing. The book started slow that’s why it was so easy for me to put down and whenever I would try to pick it up again something else would draw my attention away from reading. However this time I gave myself a week to finish the book and once I got several pages into the book I was able to see the plot pick up and come alive. Although the plot did pick up, it also seem to slow down and it felt drawn out so I do what I always do when I feel like the story is taking too long to get to the point….I skipped pages. Maybe I should say skipped but more like skimmed. In the end, the book ended without a nice little red bow (meaning everything was wrapped up).

Overall the book was okay.
