really liked it

Gripping, ordinary, empathetic, and objective all at once, LeBlanc's epic coverage of a decade in the Bronx is, in my mind, exactly what nonfiction should be.

Anastasia I read this when I was fighting fire in southern California and I was like, how is this book not super popular? I thought it was amazing.
