I found this a really good read in spite of a few problems--(1)the Saddam Hussein plot has been outdated by events after 2001, (2) the book seems to be Part 2 of The Third Option, which my library didn't have but it probably should have been read first, and (3) the ho-hum romantic storyline paled anemically next to the action and political storylines--what does he see in that insipid, whiney, plastic reporter--I would think Mitch would be attracted to a woman with some guts, spunk, humor, and brains, but obviously not.
