The End of the Matter (Pip & Flinx Adventures, #3)
by Alan Dean Foster
by Alan Dean Foster
This is the third/fourth in Foster's Pip and Flinx series. It's hard to set a hypercritical eye on such a fun read: How can you not like high space opera adventure that includes gun-toting giants, galaxy-collapsing black holes, scaly lizards set to conquer the universe, and a boy and his flying snake?
Foster's Pip and Flinx series is a guilty pleasure that happens to be teaching me a few things about science fiction that I had forgotten. The only flaw, if it's a flaw, is that Flinx doesn't yet seem to have any flaws.
