This is book three in a four book series about what could happen in our country if a solar pulse destroyed all comunnication and took us back to the days before electricity, computers, TV,s refrigerators, etc. It is interesting to see how these families coped, some despaired and others pulled up their bootstarps and decided to do something about it. In this book, someone is murdered, and a young man who had a criminal father is blamed. The girl who loves him works to find his innocence.
