it was amazing
bookshelves: brainiac, history, philosophy, hard-work, great-20th-century-thinkers
Read from January 26 to March 08, 2011 — I own a copy , read count: 1

Fascinating - written during WW2 - so several references to the state of the world at the time of writing and how philosophy connects with that knid of reality. However, parts of the book were hard work, and I confess there were bits I just couldn't grasp. Nontheless, Russell's magnificant work has opened up a whole new world of ideas to me.
