really liked it
Read from September 16 to 17, 2010 — I own a copy

This was a quick read, and for the most part I enjoyed it. But I didn't care for the love making scenes. Most lines of Harlequin novels have sex scenes, ranging from hinting at the deed to full on, TMI, decriptions. The Supperromance line usually is in between, but this particular book was a little too vulgar. Not that I am prudish, I don't mind reading love scenes-these were just poorly written and over the top. I also felt that Mayberry used profanity more often than necessary-it is one thing to toss a few in to illustrate personality or intensify a scene, but there were some scenes where she used "ass" three or four times at once for no real reason. But even with those two things, I still enjoyed the book enough to give it 4 stars so it couldn't have been *that* bad I guess.
