I mostly only read this so that I could better follow along with 52, and because it came after Identity Crisis which I did kind of like. It was harder to follow than the original Crisis on Infinite Earths. You definitely need to be into the DCU in a big way to get much out of this story. Overall, as far as major crossovers go, it wasn't too horrible. It sets up some of the interesting stuff that's happening now, so at least it has a purpose other than a summer sales boost.
