Area 7 (Shane Schofield, #2)
by Matthew Reilly
by Matthew Reilly
It's hard to relax when reading one of Matthew Reilly's books, they're just so exciting and thrilling.
Although I've enjoyed his other books so far, this was just a little bit too cheesy for me. I keep noticing that Reilly's vocabulary only extends so far. I'm getting quite annoyed with the phrase he uses over and over again "so and so never missed a beat". Or his attempts at building relationships and characters in the middle of the book just make no sense, since you know, everyone is being hunted. Aside from that, as long as you don't focus on these things too much, the storyline is good.
