Read in January, 2008

The crack cocaine of mass market fiction. Follet works some kind of fiction-plotting voodoo that sucks you in from the first word, keeps it up for 1000 pages, and leaves you with that sad end-of-book hangover the next day. There was a little lull (like pages 300-400), but then it picked back up again. I don't care that it's low brow and trashy. I LOVED IT!
