Rio is the battered and emotionally wounded, betrayed by his breedmate male who is ready to off himself. What does he need to save him? A nosey ass tabloid reporter, with no flight instincts and damn good digital camera.

We also get a smattering of ghosts through this episode and a deeper look into Dragos and his really loopy plan to take over the world by sexin' up the ancient.

I blew through this book. Taking the group out of the now crowded Order home helped me as a reader focus more on the new couple and their journey together. I gotta admit. At only 4 books, I am still going through the couples and having a difficult time recalling who has what ability, who is sucking who's blood, and who is related/spawned by who, etc, etc.

But This book was a very fast paced read, and a lot of fun. I blew through it and immediately went onto the next because I was so interested in what happened next. And frankly because I was damn pissed about the bad guy getting away at the end.
