Daniel's review
If you loved this book or hated this book, you have to watch this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...
Monty Python's Semaphore version of Wuthering Heights
This is one of my favorite books of all time. The plot "haunted" me day and night whether or not I was reading it.
Brianna, I read this book so long ago I can't recall much about it except that I did like it. I read it around the time I read Katherine... and it was a tortured romance, which I am a sucker for.
Charissa, Ha! Love youtube!! Thanks for the link, my brother is going to love that.
I hated this book when I read it (or attempted to) the first time. In fact, half way through or so (whenever Catherine dies), I threw the book at my roommate and refused to finish it. She was the one who recommended it to me in the first place - obviously. I have since read it and liked it, boarder line loved it. However, Jane Eyre is pretty well my favorite book of all time, so if you don't like that sort of thing I can't imagine any gap would induce you to like WH.
I mark this book as to read.. Will i re-read again or is it as terrible as Mr Daniel's review? We'll see then:)
whether or not you liked the story, you have to admit the writing is great and the story is intriguing, and speaks to many, no?
Susana,Yes!
I recently watched the movie (not the original)produced in 1992. The story is so gripping,it's hard not to live it for days after viewing. In the case of reading it, I was always in the story, whether reading it or not.
GREAT BOOK
