4.5 stars. This was a real page turner (and I was even turning pages back to re-read certain things). Jane is popular, pretty, and dating the perfect boyfriend, but that doesn't stop somebody from running her over and leaving her for dead in a rosebush. Or maybe that is exactly why she was run over? From her hospital bed after the accident Jane realizes that someone she knows is trying to kill her, or are they? She also can't remember anything from the night of the accident and there's her distant mom, her new step dad, and the fact that she is temporarily paralyzed. There is a host of characters in Jane's life that could be the killer and throughout the narrative you see them in flashbacks and in present time as they visit her in the hospital. This got confusing at times, but I think also added to the mystery and who dunnit aspect of the story. I loved the dialogue between the characters, especially the scenes between Jane and Pete. Jane was definitely an unreliable narrator, but that added to the story and I felt like everything was divulged to the reader in a more organic way because of this. I think fans of Before I Fall by Oliver & the Pretty Little Liars series by Shepard will enjoy this read.

Adriana It was! I stayed up late just to finish reading and find out who wanted to kill Jane.
