This is an archaeology, quest type book of which I am a fan.
I did enjoy reading it and getting some exposure to the "Ouroboros", but was a little disappointed in the way the author delivered the major turning points in the book. It left you expecting more than what was actually delivered. The climax the author would start to build to always seemed to fall a little short. I enjoyed the flashbacks and the mystery and suspense of the characters of the past, more than the characters for the current day storyline. The majority of the characters portrayed in the present just didn't seem to be as interesting. I don't think their characters were developed as much as they could have been. In spite of this, I still enjoyed reading the book. The subject matter/quest still remains current and it's interesting to see what an author does with it.
