** spoiler alert ** This is a great cozy read, especially during the fall and winter seasons. Two girls are sent to foster care when their mother ends up in jail. The two sisters end up leading different lives. The younger one, Kerrie Ann, had a rough upbringing and relocates her older sister Lindsay, after the drive to save her daughter. Kerrie Ann is shocked to see how well Lindsay is doing.

Despite their upbringings, the two sisters work on the same goal in hopes of bringing Kerrie Ann's daughter back. This would make a great book club discussion.
