Apparently, I need my horror ultra lite, since these stories were still too much for me. Some of the stories were fun('Day Off,' 'Dead Hand,' 'The Bell...FROM HELL!!!!,' 'A Very Special Girl,' 'PR Problems,' 'High Kicks and Misdemeanors,' 'Eldritch Pastiche from Beyond the Shadow of Horror,' and 'Old School.') Others were good, except had too much gore, profanity, and/or toilet humor for my taste. Really, just a few of the stories(like 'Mr. Bear') made me queasy and left me feeling uneasy about the entire collection. Reading the review I just wrote makes me feel like an old lady.
