I'm not sure what the point of this book was, to tell the truth, but I enjoyed reading the story. Sharon Shinn is quite good at telling a story, even if it's just for the sake of a story. This book is about secrets, truths, and dreams. It was a light read, interesting enough that I read it quickly, and I liked the cast of characters. I'll read the second book in the series and then I may revise this review based on how the two books work together.
