Meh. Paranormal mysteries. Two novels crammed into one. I'm not a fan of mysteries, but I can see how some people would find these good candy reading. It's mystery, a bit of paranormal hoohah (telekinesis, reincarnation, etc.), and a bit of teen romance. I think every guy in the high school in the setting of this novel is some sort of brilliant, sensitive, uber-hot athlete. I teach high school, so I have a hard time buying into this idea. Hopefully my students won't have such trouble imagining some other town might be different.
