bookshelves: contemporary, romantic-suspense

Cindy Gerard sure knows how to write riveting romantic/suspense! The thrills start as soon as the book is opened and continue until the last page. The suspense aspect is believable and very well done. It was the romance aspect in this book that was a little hard to swallow. A couple of wham-bam,thank you, ma'm one night stands having been referred to, then suddenly when danger hits, they can't live without each other? Eh..... just not working as remotely realistic.

Tammy Walton Grant Ha, that's kind of funny -- it's usually the other way around and the suspense part is unbelievable! Both ways are annoying -- are you going to continue with the series?

TJ Heck yeah, these are adrenaline rush addictive. Besides, I'm invested enough that I want to see what happens to a few of the secondary characters.
