welllll.... Riley is again kidnapped & 2 clone were's had sex with her when she was in a coma... and... she frees herself... while freeing and then hooking up with Kade, a werehorse (with horse proportioned genitals)... and Quinn wants her back, and though he wants her exclusively, he is willing to try a compromise (which they never quite get to in this book)...

So she, Kade, Quinn, Jack (her boss, who is confident that she will take on Guardian role), and Rhoan (her brother) continue to try and take down the clone making/ species experimenting conglomerate that is threatening Riley (they want her dna as she were / vampire) and her potential children...

Misha is back, trading sex (and potential fatherhood) with Riley for information...

There are some crazy hybrid creatures... ultimately, Misha is killed, but they now have the name of his clone-mate who is running everything...
