I've only read book #3 so I missed the beginning of this series. This short chapter book was much fun as it explored the role of the librarian & her intense desire to pull students into the library with her unconventional methods.

The writing is very witty so even the adult (meaning me) found moments of great chuckle.

What I found a bit disheartening was the students use of the words "stupid" or "dumb" to refer to events or each other. Its not a reason not to read the book but it isn't really necessary.
