The illustrations in this book are so cute and expressive that I was won over by them alone!
The story is sweet and a very cute concept, and while perhaps nothing truly incredible all alone, married with the illustrations made this book impossible to forget!
Definitely recommended if you're looking for a non-scary Halloween book, and/or if you love cats, love black cats, and love the idea of a cat taking matters into its own hands (paws) to find itself a family.

Kathryn Isn't that cover just the cutest!?!?!

Lisa Vegan Yes, this book is adorable; the illustrations are just wonderful!

Lisa Vegan Yes, adorable review for an adorable book.

Lisa Vegan Oh, a friend of mine got me a camera for my birthday and I got Skype. Have had 2 phone calls so far. Last night talked with that long distance friend on her birthday. I haven't "seen" her for about 4 years. So, I got to see live moving people and dog and cats, including getting to "meet" 2 cats they've adopted since I last visited. It was very cool. Of course, I didn't get to pet them, which greatly diminished the experience.

Kathryn Ooooh, how nice!!!! But, yes, it is very hard if you can't pet them.
