In short (maybe I find the time to elaborate later, maybe not): Right now I feel like I've got a wyvern in my guts - shredding tissue like mad. Not because of particularly graphic horrbile scenes, not at all, but because of the narrator's complete complacency and serenety while relating the - to us - nightmarish story of her life. All the while making it perfectly clear that to her no alternative life plan would have been thinkable.

I got the one with ISBN: 9780571258093, which looks the same like yours. Es ist neu und hat auf der oberen Ecke der Rückseite einen kleines Eselsohr und einige leicht-angestossene Stellen an den Rändern und dem Buchrücken (vom Transport). Also ich würde sagen, es ist in einem guten Zustand.
Ich schicke es dir wie immer sobald ich's zuende gelesen habe :) Morgen ist ja Feiertag und damit kann ich denn ganzen Tag lesen, lesen und lesen :)
Yup, this book gets you on just how....docile these characters are. It doesn't even occur to them to run the hell away. Now, thats scary.
