It is rare that I love secondary characters as much as I do primaries, but Phoran plucked my heartstrings and tickled my funny bone. I loved seeing his perspective, and watching him man up and take charge as Emperor. And when he was talking about using the royal We and Us? I laughed out loud! I loved his character so much! And Seraph's last quote at the end of the book? I can't post it because it is a minor spoiler, but it completely summed up Seraph and Tier's relationship for me. They love each other, but sometimes they can be idiots. Loved this duology!
