** spoiler alert ** The name of this book is "The name of this book is secret" it's secret mainly because it's a secret story. It is a story about a secret but it is also a secret story, that's why it's name must remain a secret. The book is truly amazing. It is about, yes a secret. The main characters are Cassandra but people call her Cass and her "friend" Max- Ernest. Max-Ernest is a boy driven by logic and has no friends. He wanted to be a comedian but in truth he is not at all funny. His birth name is actually Max-Ernest this is because his parents couldn't decide between Max or Ernest and causing a break-up right after they left the hospital.
Cassandra has no friends either. She carries a backpack around filled with things in order to survive. She is a survivalist and she is always predicting catastrophes. They eventually become friends and they accidentally stumble upon a box labeled " The Symphony Of Smells". An old box with smelly vials and colorful ingredients. There are different vials with different smells the reason for this is that the person who made them(the magician and his brother) had Synesthesia -the confusion of senses. Each vial contained a smell and for that smell there was an instrument for example:

licorice= oboe.
They found a note with the names of 4 instruments then they wrote the name of the smell each instrument had and came up with:
Heliotrope
Echinacea
licorice
Peanut Butter.
which spells help.
In search for the meaning of these vials they stumble across a mystery of a dead magician and his hidden diary. Unfortunately they are being chased for the diary and its components. Along the way there was a boy in their school that had the same illness as the magician and he was kidnapped by the people trying to get the diary. While this happened they tired to find out what the diary said but it was blank. When they discovered how to read it they were horrified and cut off because the diary went until such length. They were caught in the hunt for immortality.
The Hunters were Dr. L and Ms. Movay. Near the end Cass and Max-Ernest were trying to help the boy not be killed. That was Dr.L and Ms. Movays plan. It was to insert an instrument up his nose and take out his brain. While trying to help him Ms.Movay revealed her age and locked them prisoners. In the end they escape and take the unconscious boy and burn the spa in order to get away. It all remain a secret and nobody knew about what had happened because Cass and Max-Ernest never told.

I highly recommend this book because it is action packed and mysterious and it keeps you clinging to the pages. It is a very very good book to read it is so good you'll finish it in a day. Asking yourself what happens next every sentence. It is really life like and narrator keeps you interested by trying to decided whether or not to keep telling you this secret and if you should even know about it and that you've had enough that he or she shouldn't tell you anymore. The thing is he or she cant keep a secret is as simple as that and has to tell someone. So brace yourself and read this outrageous book.
