We Beat the Streets
The inspirational story we beat the streets was written by author
Sharon draper and collaborated with the three men Rameck Hunt, George
Jenkins and Sampson Davis. In this book it tells you how their life
Was like growing up in the inner city environment where the boys were
Faced with all kinds of challenges like poverty, drugs, and injury.
In spite of all they have been through they al wanted to be
Successful. So in high school rameck George and Sampson made a pact to all go to college.
This book was very cool and inspiring. It keeps me on my seat I’m always wondering what’s going to happen next. Like one time when ramek and his boys were beating up a drug addict and the police caught ramek with a knife. I was really scared I didn’t know what was going to happen I felt like I was in the book. I would give this book a four out of five because of the lack of reality but overall it was a really great book. I would recommend this book to anyone of age 12and up and who likes inspiring stories. The author Sharon draper has many of other books like Tears of a Tiger, and The Battle of Jericho.
